Formed in 2014 by Jon Fletcher, and based in Minneapolis, MN, Terrava is a privately owned real estate development and investment company with extensive experience in residential, mixed use, commercial, and raw land. Jon currently serves as senior vice president of one of the largest non-profit senior housing providers in the country, where he leads the real estate division and focuses on providing senior living growth and strategy services for residential and mixed-use developments for internal and third-party clients across the country.
Through over $2.0 billion dollars of growth & expansion experience, areas of expertise include development, finance, design, operations, underwriting, retail, project management, legal/negotiations, environmental, financial modeling, leasing, marketing, and entitlements. Project sizes range from $1,000,000 to $140,000,000+; and from 1-story to 22-story. Jon also has extensive environmental remediation experience, including leading the remediation of an urban Superfund site. Jon’s past experience also includes executive positions at a Fortune 500 real estate company.
Jon is an honorably discharged US Army Veteran, having served in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2009-2010, and is a graduate of Crown College (BA-Music Performance/BA-Christian Ministry), University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (MBA-Finance) in addition to continuing education coursework at MIT.
Jon currently serves on the board of Renovation Church and previously served as Vice Chair of the Planning Commission for the City of Brooklyn Park as well as on the Board of Directors of Presbyterian Homes & Services, Crown College (MN), Bridge for Youth, Heritage Academy of Science and Technology, and the Urban Land Institute-Minnesota’s Young Leaders Group.
Jon was awarded a ‘40underForty’ award from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal in 2012 (the youngest recipient). Jon also previously served as General Manager of Minneapolis Parking, the largest privately held parking portfolio (5,500+ stalls) in the state of Minnesota; the company was named a Best Company to Work For in 2013 by Minnesota Business Magazine. In 2017, under Jon’s leadership, the Minnesota team of Lennar Multifamily Communities was awarded a Progress Minnesota Award from Finance & Commerce.
